You bring the baby

💛

I’ll bring the plan.

A simple, no-stress way to start solids with confidence, clarity, and support — built for real moms, real babies, and real life.

Let me guess...

You’ve saved a dozen BLW reels, downloaded the “100 first foods” list, and maybe even have a cart full of baby gear you’re not sure you actually need.

But deep down, you’re still wondering:

💭

Is my baby really ready?

💭

Do I need all this stuff?

💭

What if they choke?

💭

Am I already behind?

💭

But seriously…what do I actually start feeding them? And how?

You’ve been Googling during midnight feeds, asking your mom group, skimming blog posts with one eye open — and still feel unsure.

You want the best for your baby. You’re just not totally sure what that looks like when it comes to solids — or how to pull it off without a meltdown (yours or theirs).

You care so much about getting this right. And right now? It just feels like too much.

Here’s what might be keeping you stuck:

  • That knot-in-your-stomach fear — of choking, allergens, the what-ifs

  • Everyone’s got an opinion — your pediatrician, your mother-in-law, the intense mom in your Facebook group, and that random IG influencer who swears her baby's first and favorite food is Thai curry

  • There’s pressure to “do it perfectly,” even when your plate is already full and baby’s plate is empty

  • Decision fatigue: gear, timing, foods, methods... it’s a lot

This isn’t about doing it wrong or not knowing enough — it’s about being buried in advice and still not getting the clarity you need.

What you need is guidance that cuts through the noise and actually works for you and your baby.

Imagine…

You sit your baby in their high chair and actually feel excited. You know they’re ready — because you’ve got the signs, the setup, and the step-by-step to back it up.

You place the food down. They reach with curious hands. They taste. They gag (a little). You breathe. And instead of panicking, you calmly talk them through it because you know what’s normal, and what’s next.

You’re not just feeding. You’re bonding. You’re laying the foundation for confidence — theirs and yours. And when the next question pops up (because it always does)? You know exactly where to turn.

I want to personally invite you to join

MEET THE FOUNDER

Hey! I’m Alex King.

Before I supported new parents professionally (unless you count my thriving babysitting business as a teen), I was a foster mama figuring it out in real life — one high chair mess at a time.

I became a mom overnight through foster care — bringing home a newborn baby girl with nothing but a diaper bag, a car seat, and a whole lot of hope. Six months later, I was nervously Googling how to start solids and serving her a banana — no Pinterest board, just a suction plate, a missing bib, and a messy, magical moment that changed everything.

Since then, I’ve weaned three babies in my care, supported dozens of families as a postpartum doula, and put my degree in Human Development to good use. I created BLW: The First 2 Weeks to give overwhelmed moms something I wish I’d had: a trusted starting point that feels clear, doable, and grounded in real life.

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need support that meets you where you are.

You’ve got this, and I’ve got you. 💛
